What's cooler than cool? Ice-cold, baby

We are under a winter storm warning from drive-time this evening to sometime tomorrow night.  I am pretty sure that both the Husband and the offspring will be home from school tomorrow, since I don't think the county in which we live or the county in which The Huband's students do will be dumb enough to make the buses run.  Many people at the office are planning to take lots of stuff home in anticipation of working remotely.

I, on the other hand, plan to come in unless there is sheet of ice a foot thick on my driveway.  There is no way in hell that I will be able to get any work done, especially my conference call, since the kids will default to asking me when they help them reach the cereal bowl/want to play on the computer/are fighting over the remote.  And if I am supposed to be working, but take a moment to peruse the links on my Favorites list, you can guarantee that The Husband will see it and take it as a signal that I am done working and therefore ready to do 4,837 loads of laundry.  And if the weather gets progressively worse as the day goes on, and I am stuck at the office?  Oh, too bad, maybe I need to walk across the parking lot and check into the Hilton for the night...
